During a long time now, The Glass Factory has been working intensively to counteract the negative effects of the corona pandemic. The entire spring program was cancelled and the international glass conference GAS 2020 as well. One of the measures we have taken is to reduce opening hours for a limited time. In May we are open on weekends and from May 30 we are open every day, all summer, according to the current plan.

In order to ensure that visitors and our staff are not exposed to infection, we have decided on specific routines and stated recommendations:

Neither visitors nor staff who display symptoms themselves, such as coughing, cold or fever, should visit The Glass Factory.

We will limit the number of visitors. In this way, we can make sure that there is still plenty of room for our visitors and good opportunity to keep social distance from each other. At special events and program points, we follow the maximum limit for the number of visitors in a large group.

We will post our vernissages online on our Facebook page during May and June.

We inform all our visitors and staff about the importance of good hand hygiene and sneezing in the arm fold.

We inform all our visitors to keep their distance to each other.

In our cafe we help to ensure that our guests are not crowded. We will provide the opportunity to sit outside when there is fine weather.

Should there be queue formation in our store, our staff will advise that visitors keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters to each other.

We always make sure to replenish soap at our toilets and in all staff rooms. We have carefully separated the visiting and staff toilets.

We have disinfectants for all our tools in our activity studio.

For you who work in our hot shop
We have introduced extended hygiene rules in the hot shop, such as not mixing each other's tools, when working with each other and the artists. We keep a distance and wash our hands often.
